“It has been proven that sea levels are rising, that temperatures are increasing, and yet we still have climate change denial, and yet we still very little meaningful policy changes to deal with this.

I wish the government realised how valuable a scientific education is for people of all ages. I wish the government appreciated science, and scientists. The solutions to so many of the big problems we will be facing in the future, climate change, resource management, and sustainability, will be solved by scientists.

The cuts to science funding not only mean that these vital discoveries won’t happen, but it also devalues science in the eyes of the Australian people.”
